Sustainable Living 101 with the Chief Babes of the Koko Shop
December 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm$10.00
About the Event
Now more than ever, we are aware of the negative effects our lifestyle has on the climate. The increased need to live more sustainably and produce zero waste is top of mind. While we may see information on the importance of going green, what are tangible steps we can take in our daily lives to alleviate waste and support a better environment? YES! Columbus is partnering with the Chief Babes of the Koko Shop to help educate us and provide actionable items to put into practice.
Join Adria Hall and Jamie, owners of the Koko Shop, as they go over in detail the products and services we can implement into our daily habits and create a more sustainable lifestyle. Register today!
About the Koko Shop
Koko is a Finnish word that translates as “full” – a nod to cofounder Jamie’s heritage and their plan to create refilleries where customers can fill and refill products, over and over! The Koko Shop’s sister store, Forage, is an interior plant shop and community for plant people. Koko started as an idea for a small shelf of products within Forage, and quickly grew into the bright + happy brand you see today.
Your ticket cost is a $10 donation for non-YES members and goes directly to Dress for Success Columbus and supports their mission of empowering women to achieve economic independence in our community.
